Maddie & Josh - Maidens Barn

Maiden's Barn continues to be a favourite of mine and it was lovely to head back there for another visit for Maddie and Josh's wedding. 

Their wedding in November had a lovely rich orange theme and they choose a cupcake tower and top cake to complement this theme. The cupcakes were a delicious mix of raspberry & white chocolate, lemon & elderflower and strawberries & champagne, whilst their top cake was an indulgent Biscoff sponge layered with crunchy Biscoff paste and butter icing.

The display of 60 cupcakes was set on my woodslice cake stand, which gives off a beautifully natural vibe, and was finished with pretty cupcake wrappers, including hessian, coordinated ribbon bows, lace and laser cut card. The whole display was then generously accented with fresh fruits and fresh flowers for the top cake. Maddie and Josh also had a special request for some cupcakes made without gluten or dairy and these were displayed in individual cupcakes boxes tied with matching ribbon.

Huge congratulations to Maddie and Josh as they continue their adventures as Mr & Mrs.
